The Toothed Dagger is a gruesome relic from a time when Reptiloids were seen as nothing more than beasts, and were often hunted for sport by wealthier citizens who sought the thrill of chasing down and slaying the powerful humanoids. After one such hunt, the killer decided to make a pair of toothed trophy daggers from the Reptiloid's jawbone. This quickly became a fad, with members of high society flocking to get their own trophy daggers - taking a great toll on the Reptiloid species in the process. Whilst such a barbaric sport has been relegated to the annals of history, these Toothed Daggers remain as a potent reminder that the Federation's past is murkier than some would have us believe.
