Enormous and frighteningly powerful, little is actually known about the Storm Giants. Researchers have been unable to pinpoint a planet of origin, nor discover how they ended up roaming all six of the Frontier planets. Some speculate that they were once the bodyguards of the ancient Oshis, whilst others believe that they are the self-manifested guardians of Trilium itself.
Interestingly, dead Storm Giants appear resistant to reanimation. The legendary Guild of Necromancers once attempted to raise one from the dead with a powerful ritual involving their specially crafted Necromancers Hammers. However despite the potency of the Hammers the ritual failed, resulting in a group of grumpy Necromancers terrorising Magor for a short period of time.
