A more defensive weapon, the Confuser was originally developed by a zoologist to assist in studying a particularly elusive species of rodent. It emits a narrow band pulse capable of manipulating the target's theta brain waves, causing confusion and drowsiness. It is regularly favoured by Grey Scientists, who utilise its functionality both as originally intended to make analysing specimens easier, and also to gain a tactical advantage in combat scenarios by disorienting an opponent.
